For the 5th time in the last 6 years, the Cold Spring Harbor Seahawks (16-2) win the Nassau Class C Championship, holding on to defeat the Wantagh Warriors (9-9) by a score of 10-7 at Adelphi University. Cold Spring Harbor scored the game’s first 6 goals and held Wantagh scoreless for the first 23:15 of the game. However, Wantagh would win five straight draw controls late in the second half and score 5 goals by 5 different goal scorers in a span of 3:49 to cut the lead to 9-7. Cold Spring Harbor would then win the final two draw controls and run out the final 4:29 of the clock to preserve the victory. Cold Spring Harbor was led by junior attack Isabelle Vitale, who tallied 5 goals and 1 assist, giving her an impressive 100 points on the season. Senior midfielder Nicole Mormile also contributed for the Seahawks with 2 goals and 1 assist. Wantagh was by senior attack Ashley Gendels, who tallied 1 goal and 1 assist.

Cold Spring Harbor will play Suffolk C Champion Bayport-Blue Point for the Long Island Class C Championship on Saturday, June 1st at 7:30pm from Adelphi University.

Down by 6 goals late in the first half, the Manhasset Indians (15-2) scored 6 straight goals to tie the game and sophomore attack Emma LoPinto tallied home the game-winning goal with 1:27 left to defeat the Garden City Trojans (12-6) by a score of 13-12 in the Nassau B Final at Adelphi University. LoPinto led the Indians with 6 goals and 2 assists, while junior midfielder Maria Themelis tallied 3 goals. Garden City was led by seniors Caitlin Cook, who had 4 goals and 1 assist and Ella Heaney, who tallied 3 goals and 3 assists. This is the 14th Nassau County Championship for Manhasset, who is the defending NY State Class B Champion.

Manhasset will play Suffolk B Champion Eastport-South Manor for the Long Island Class B Championship on Saturday, June 1st at 5:00pm from Adelphi University.

Senior attack Riley D’Andrea ran down the length of the field and tallied home the game-winning goal with 43 seconds left in OT to give the Farmingdale Dalers (14-3) their 1st Nassau Class A title since 2014 with a 9-8 win over 3-time defending Champ Massapequa Chiefs (7-9) at Adelphi University. D’Andrea took the pass from junior goalie Reilly Agres, who had a fantastic game with 11 saves. Massapequa was led by junior attack Sophia Theodorous, who tallied 4 goals. The win marks the first time in Nassau County history that a Conference II team won a Nassau Class A Championship and for the Dalers, it is their first county championship since 2014 and 16th overall.

Farmingdale will play Suffolk A Champion Northport for the Long Island Class A Championship on Saturday, June 1st at 2:30pm from Adelphi University.
